LIST of FIREBALL EVENTS

EVENT: FIREBALL JULY 15th 2023 at 21:51:41 UTC

In the night of the 15. July 2023 at 21:51:41 UTC (23:51:41 Vienna's local time) a fireball was observed in various places in the eastern part of Austria (https://nhm-wien.imo.net/members/imo_view/event/2023/3565). The FRIPON cameras in Austria and Italy recorded this event and a trajectory could be calculated. The brightest visibility of -9.0 mag was at about 95 km altitude and its total visibility was about 1 to 1.4 seconds. The image and the short movie recorded by the FRIPON-Austria camera installed on the roof of the Natural History Museum Vienna are shown below.
